Note(s)George Duvivier (1920-1985) was an American double bass player, composer, and arranger. He worked with a number of jazz greats and made extended European tours with singers Nellie Lutcher and Lena Horne. Duvivier's career included much studio work; he recorded film soundtracks and commercial jingles, and appeared on the Today Show from 1952 to 1965.
