Note(s)Edward Bertram (Montudi) Garland (also known as Ed, Montudie, Nap, Tutti, and Tudi) (1885?-1980) was an American double bass player active in Chicago and Los Angeles. With other members of the Young Men of New Orleans, he eventually joined Barry Martyn's Legends of Jazz, with whom he made several European tours in the mid-1970s.
