NoteGarvin Bushell (1902-1991) was an American woodwind multi-instrumentalist in jazz and classical genres, playing clarinet, alto clarinet, oboe, english horn, flute, saxophone, bassoon, and contrabassoon. Best known as a jazz sideman, he performed and/or recorded with Fats Waller, Cab Calloway, John Coltrane, and others.
