Project Manager
Krista White is the Digital Humanities Librarian at the John Cotton Dana Library. As the Project Manager the Institute of Jazz Studies Jazz Oral History Project (JOHP), she coordinates and manages efforts with all units in the Rutgers University Libraries for the digitization and presentation of JOHP transcripts as well as coordinating the creation and maintenance of the Institute of Jazz Studies Research Portal. White oversees JOHP student workers, insures digitization according to RUcore and national preservation standards, develops project workflows, identifies, develops and normalizes collection metadata according to Library of Congress and MODS standards, assists with metadata cleanup, coordinates IJS Research portal implementation and quality control testing for all JOHP outputs.
